cycling the ancient west
about the tour
Discover one of the most untouched and breathtaking regions of the Turkish Aegean on our Dalyan–Datça Cycling Tour. Over eight unforgettable days, we ride from riverside wetlands and peaceful lakes to pine forests, turquoise bays, vineyard-covered hills, and the dramatic tip of the Datça Peninsula where two seas meet.

This journey combines scenic cycling on quiet roads with boutique accommodation, local gastronomy, and cultural highlights. We explore charming villages, the Slow City of Akyaka, the serene bays of Hisarönü, the stone streets of Old Datça, and taste local wines at a family-run vineyard. The adventure culminates at Knidos, one of the most spectacular ancient cities in Turkey, overlooking the meeting point of the Aegean and Mediterranean.

With daily distances under 50 km, carefully designed routes, full support, and curated experiences, this tour is perfect for cyclists who seek beauty, comfort, history, and nature in one seamless journey. Boat relaxing & Wining
After several beautiful days of riding, today we slow down and enjoy the Aegean from the water.
A private, comfortable boat takes us along Datça’s most stunning bays — hidden coves, turquoise lagoons, untouched beaches and crystal-clear waters. We stop to swim, sunbathe and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of the sea. This is a day designed for recovery, pleasure and pure Aegean bliss.
For the sunset we visit Knidos Winery, set among rolling vineyards and olive groves. We taste local varietals, learn about the terroir of the Datça Peninsula and enjoy light Aegean snacks — herbs, olives, cheeses and homemade products.
The winery experience is slow, beautiful and deeply connected to the land.

Datca - Knidos

Today is the emotional highlight of the tour — the journey to Knidos, the ancient city at the western tip of the peninsula where two seas meet.
We ride from Datça through peaceful villages and open landscapes, with the road slowly opening toward the dramatic coastline. The closer we get to Knidos, the wilder and more cinematic the scenery becomes — cliffs, ancient stones, shimmering water and infinite horizons.
At Knidos we leave the bikes and continue on foot, hiking up to the lighthouse — one of the most unforgettable viewpoints in all of Türkiye. Here, surrounded by wind and silence, you feel the power of this extraordinary place.
As the sun begins to set, we enjoy a beautifully prepared sunset picnic with local Aegean flavors. We gather for a quiet moment to share our memories of the journey and the experiences we've enjoyed together.
